4p last session

Last night I and Josh had the disco and it was AMAZING. The kids were all amazing, They all had good manners and we even played some game that the kids were good at. In the junior disco, we could have sold out of food and drink but we saved some for the senior disco. In the end, we tidied up the hall then today we counted the money. We managed to make $205 in notes and $270.10 in coins and that equals a profit of $473.10 to go towards a year 8 camp in Wellington.

Tomorrow we are going to present are 4p to Mr. Brown.

Last week 4p session 3

Today I and Joshua took down all the sound equipment in the hub and then moved it over to the hall and set it up there. It took us about 20 minutes to take it all down. Then it took 5 minutes to take over to the hall. Then another 20 minutes to set it up. Then we started to work on the final product and the script. Tonight the disco is on and hopefuly we make a profit.

last week 4p session 2

Today I and Josh got a lot done. We put all the lollies into bags and managed to get 72 bags. We also got to get all the flies out of the hall, now it looks a lot cleaner. I reckon we could have got a little more done on our slide show. I also think we could have more lollies but too late now and if we sell all our product we have a profit.

Tomorrow we are going to go to the hall and set up all the sound equipment, think where we should put the sound equipment.

Last week 4p 8/4

Today I and Josh gave notice to all the classes in the school to take home to give to their parents to see if they could come. I’ve learned that putting a disco together is a lot harder than I thought because it takes a lot of work. You’ve also got to find out how much people are going, how many drinks and lollies are going to be sold.

Heres a picture of our poster.

Tomorrow we hope to put the lollies into bags.

4p 13/3/2019

Today for 4p I got Mr. Sherily to check our poster he likes it, but we had to change some things I will have to ask Josh tomorrow if we should have chips in the disco. Other ways we can start to put them up around the school.

Book Review

Book Review, Haystack by Jack Lasenby

If you like dialogues and farm stories, then this is the story for you. This story is about a girl how lost her mother and lives with her dad. She has to make do with all her dad’s friends. This book is also about helping half the town build a haystack. She makes new friends on the way.

This book is set in a small town out in the country. This book has some amazing characters, the main characters are Maggie, Maggie’s dad, Mrs. Dainty and Mr. Bluenose.

I personally dislike the book, I give it a 3 out of 5.

4p week 3 2019

If i were in charge of the world

If I were in charge of the world

I’d cancel cauliflower,

School time,

end of cricket season, and also

My brother.

If I were in charge of the world

There’d be no spiders,

clever cats,and

squash rackets would be bigger.

If I were in charge of the world

You wouldn’t have bullies.

You wouldn’t have grading.

You wouldn’t have bedtimes.

Or “Don’t cry.”

You wouldn’t even have crying.

If I were in charge of the world

Aero chocolate would be a vegetable.

All video games would be G.

And a person who forgets to brush,

And sometimes forget to wash,

Would still be allowed to be

In charge of the world.

Let me tell you something about me…..

Let me tell you something about me…

I love cricket. Not just love, really love. I love it so much I’m in the North Otago team for it. I love the sound of the wicket when I bowl them out, I love the sound of the ball when it comes off the bat, I love the sound of people clapping when we come off the field, I love it when we cheer when we get a wicket. I love cricket I could play it my whole life. When I play cricket I can just leave all the anger behind me.

What do you think about that?
